This project involved creating a playful and optimistic visual identity and packaging system for Oh! for OzHarvest, a purpose-led initiative transforming surplus produce into food and beverage products to reduce waste and support community food relief. The challenge was to make a serious environmental and social mission feel joyful, accessible, and engaging for consumers.
The visual identity uses bold colour, expressive typography, and dynamic graphics to celebrate upcycled ingredients, clearly communicate the positive impact of every purchase, and make the range stand out on shelf. The packaging system and overall brand expression were designed to feel cohesive across the product range while translating complex sustainability messaging into a simple, engaging experience.
The project demonstrates how thoughtful design can drive awareness, influence behaviour, and support measurable social impact, positioning Oh! for OzHarvest as a compelling consumer-facing social enterprise. It was recognised in the AGDA Awards – Design for Good category.
